This could be the last time

Yeah baby, the last time. Unlike the Rolling Stones I know when it's time to stop! Though I had my hopes that I would hold out the year out. But now I find it too hard and above all, time consuming to continue. And meaningless. Not with fishing of course, but to write about it in English. Apparently my ability to catch pikes is greater than to catch the interest to read about it.

Above is s picture from august 20. It's one of the two fortresses that guards the entrance to Karlskrona's naval base. Or guarded. This one is called Drottningskär and the one across the strait, Kungsholmen. The Queen's Islet and the King's Islet. They have never been tried in actual battle though.
It was al lousy fishing day. Fog in the morning and rain during the day. Enough said.

This photo is from august 29. Taken just outside Långö where I keep my boat. Blue skies and big clouds. The kind of weather we've had almost the whole month. Yes, from the last fishing trip I will write about for you, all you foreign readers out in the world. All five of you. But no hard feelings. Clearly I overestimated my ability to express myself in English. So from now on I will stick to Swedish. But it's no great loss because the procedure will be the same from time to time the rest of the year. As it was last year and probably will be the next. Soon I will leave the boat ashore and go back to the springtime's way of fishing. With car and waders. Maybe you like the pictures?

The last summer fishing picture this year?

Yes probably. Now it's payback time for the weather here in Sweden. For three or four weeks time not a day without rain or/and thunder and lightning. Today, between black clouds and rain, it happened to be a couple of hours of warm sun from a blue sky. Have I tried to fool you about a photographer on board taking the pictures?
If so I lied. Or let's call it a joke.
Now it can be told:
It's my camera that works overtime as a photographer. I have modified a tripod and fastened it on the little board at the prow. Then I've set the camera to take 6 pictures in a row with 10 seconds between. It works surprisingly well.

Yes, that'll be all. It' no meaning trying to continue. But this web log will still be floating around on the Internet. If not forever so at least as long I pay my bills to my web hotel, PowWeb, Burlington somewhere in the USA on the West Coast, I think.
I finish the whole thing off with the combined statistics from the last three fishing days not reported in full to you.
